Penerapan Manajemen Kualitas dengan Menggunakan MBNQA
Abstract
Education is one of the human needs of our times where education is also one of the main factors in the formation of the human person. Good personal formation starting from the good service provided by the educational institution. Competition in education institutions increasingly stringent therefore educational institutions to further improve the quality of the organization in order to give the best to their customers (students). Many tools are used to assess the quality of the organization. One of them is the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) consisting of seven categories: leadership; Strategic Planning; Market and Customer Focus; Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management; The focus of Human Resources; Focus Surgery; and results.
The purpose of this study was to determine the level of achievement in STIE EQUITY MBNQA score. This research uses descriptive and verification method by respondents as many as 74 people consisting of structural officials, expert staff, faculty, trustees and students STIE EQUITY. This study also used a questionnaire that was distributed manually. The scale used is a Likert scale (ordinal). Total item questions by 88 questions have been tested through validity and reliability. For the calculation of scores using the formula MBNQA.
Based on the results of the research that has been done, MBNQA generate a value of 751 based on the views of respondents who are in the category of industry leaders which showed that STIE Ekuitas now provide good service also has a good quality also.
