Abstract
This study aims to conduct a preliminary assessment of Indonesian SMEs readiness for
ASEAN Economic Community (АЕС) and to identify the related potential economic barriers and
opportunities. The results obtained from the index performance analysis revealed three levels of
SMEs priority that influence their productivity while facing global markets.
