Item type: Item , Visibility and Information Accuracy of Coffee Supply Chain in West Java Indonesia(Emerald Publishing Limited, UK, 2023-05-23) Rusyandi, Dedi; Azis, Anton Mulyono; Irjayanti, MayaThe role of information technology is very important, especially in achieving related performance to optimize supply chain management as recognized by various findings literature. The existence of computer equipment is no longer sufficient to cope with the various industry issues, especially those requiring the latest information from the aspect of visibility and information accuracy. This study focuses on the importance of visibility and accuracy of the information on the coffee supply chain and aims to identify the use of information technology to eliminate problems in the coffee industry, especially in West Java. This qualitative research utilizes descriptive data, to explain and analyze the social dynamic factors and perceptions of informants along the coffee supply chains. The study begins by compiling basic assumptions and rules of thought used in research, followed by data collection, data reduction, and categorization, analysis, interpretation, and data display, and ends with the conclusion. The data analysis used a decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL), which was used to determine the representation of critical factors, contained in the research dimensions. As a finding the coffee supply chain in West Java has not been responsive and efficient yet, so improvements need to be made to get high added value for regional economic growth. The results of the study also identified several obstacles along the supply chain and solution based on a high level of information accuracy with several challenges to utilize it, namely (1) data and information sharing, (2) forecasting optimization, and (3) collaborative planning. As a suggestion to increase visibility in supply chain management, further research is needed to create relevant software and systems to trace the solutions to the causes and challenges faced to improve the accuracy of the information and its visibility.Item type: Item , Information And Communication Technology Adoption By Women Entrepreneurs In Indonesia(HOC VIEN TAI CHINH - ACADEMY OF FINANCE -FINANCIAL PUBLISHING HOUSE, 2021-06-21) Irjayanti, Maya; Lord, Linley; Pedigo, Kerry; Hynes, NikiThe technology approach to business can be a solution to obtain an efficient and innovative business process. This study aims to identify the role of information and communication technology to address the various business barriers of small business run by women in rural areas in Indonesia. The results of the study show that women entrepreneurs in rural areas of Indonesia are familiar with internetbased information technology, but only a small number have used it as a supportive instrument for business development. Research participants who adopted internet-based digital technology obtained significant advantages, especially from the aspects of promotion and marketing. The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of intention to quit frontline employees of Commercial Banks in Bandung and find the factors that most influence the intention to quit. The research method used in this research is descriptive method and factor analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires to 314 frontline employees of Commercial Banks in Bandung City. The results showed that the level of intention to quit frontline employee Commercial Bank in Bandung is high. Another finding is that the factors affecting the intention to quit are non compensation factors and compensation factors.Item type: Item , Measuring Supply Chain Performance of Knitting Industry(Zant World Press, 12/17/2018) Azis, Anton MulyonoThe purpose of this study is to measure the supply chain performance of the knitting industry in Bandung city by investigating the key factors that determine the industrial successes. This research used quantitative research by measuringits drivers’ metrics. The result found that the industry is on the poor stage that should be noticed. This research is expected to provide benefits for the development of the knitting industry through improvement in each existing drivers’ metrics. Further research can be undertaken in deepening good performance sub-drivers’ metrics and research related to increase the value of each indicator.Item type: Item , Sharia Business Unit Spin-off: Strategic Development Model of Sharia Banking in Indonesia(Centre for Research on Islamic Banking & Finance and Business, USA, 12/17/2018) Hilman, IimIslamic bank in Indonesia in the last ten years shows a positive trend is quite impressive, the average asset growth of 30% is well above the average growth of conventional banks which only reached 15%. The other side, if the terms of its contribution to the national banking system is still very small, as indicated by the achievement of market share of Islamic banks until the end of December 2016 reached only 5.30% of the total national banking assets. Regarding to the objective conditions, would need the appropriate business development strategy to boost growth and expand market share, so that Islamic banks can increase their role in national economic activities. Spin-Off sharia business unit owned by a conventional bank is one of the business development strategy offered by the Banking Act. This paper aims to identify and measure the effectiveness of the implementation of the spin-off business unit into a sharia/Islamic banks (Sharia Commercial Bank-SCB) that have been carried out by some Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results show that the growth rate of SCB business activity is better than Sharia Business Unit (SBU), but in terms of profitability and efficiency level of SBU is better than SCB.Item type: Item , Corporate Governance And Bank Performance In Indonesia(ICEB, 12/17/2018) Fatimah, NurulThis study examines the corporate governance mechanism and their impact on performance of commercial banks in Indonesia. Focusing on differences between conventional banks (CBs) and Islamic banks (IBs), this study assessed the effect of board structure (board size and board independence) and ownership concentration on the performance of the banks as measured by ROA. The study used structured review of documents, and commercial banks financial data were collected covering a period 2015 to 2016. By employing random-effect GLS technique to test the hypotheses, this paper found that board size and bank size had statistically significant positive effect on bank performance; whereas ownership concentration had statistically significant negative effect on bank performance.Item type: Item , Quality Culture Model For Smes(National Academy of Management Vul. The standards are synthesized using the theoretical framework of symbolic-interactionism, where people act toward things that derived from social interaction and modified through interpretation. The findings encompass the comprehensive standards for managing b-school performance including: 3 perspectives, 18 variables, 50 priority indicators, and 87 supporting indicators. The standards can improve b-school competitiveness by learning process and guidance to direct entire lecturers and staffs for improvement processes by concentrating the implementation efforts to current critical indicators. The paper ends with recommendations on future research on confirming and testing the standards to Asean’s b-school and also to adapt such standard for use in widen environments within different culture of each Asean countries by developing relevant performance perspectives and general variables.Item type: Item , Structure of Third Party Funds, Financing Composition and Non Performing Financing on Islamic Banking Financial Performance(American Scientific Publishers, 2/26/2018) Buchory, Herry AchmadThe purpose of research is to analyze the effect of structure of third party funds (STPF), financing composition (FC), and non performing financing (NPF) on financial performance is measured by net interest margin (NIM). The methods used is descriptive and verification methods, with secondary data obtained from the financial statements period 2010 to 2015. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, while hypothesis testing uses T -test and F -test. The results, it is concluded that the partially, STPF and NPF have negative and significant effect on NIM; While the CF has positive effect but not significant on NIM. Simultaneously STPF, CF and NPF have significantly effect on NIM with the level of 74.9%, while the remaining 23.1% thought is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Item type: Item , Performance Of Sharia Equity Funds And Conventional Equity Funds, Which One Is Better ?(Everant Journals/AFMJ - Account and Financial Management Journal, 9/13/2017) Hilman, IimCurrently equity funds are investment instruments that are very interested by investors, because are able to provide higher returns compared to other investment instruments. In Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) there are two types of equity funds traded, namely sharia equity funds and conventional equity funds. This study aims to find out which is better between the performance of sharia equity funds and conventional equity funds. The analytical method used is the comparative method using the average difference test of independent sample t-test and Sharpe method to determine the rank of the best equity funds. The result of the research shows that based on Sharpe method, the performance of sharia equity funds is better than conventional equity funds. Bandung is the capital of West Java and is one of the leading tourist destinations in West Java. Due to the high number of tourists visiting Bandung has a positive impact on regional revenues. Bandung direct the development of the tourism sector to be the concept of MICE City. Some of development include adding infrastructure, expand the tourist destinations, and provide many options to travelers about the type of tourism. Some examples such as heritage tourism, culinary tourism, shopping, etc. Where all of is directed to increase the number of tourist visits so that Bandung became an attractive city in the tourism sector. The expected tourists who visit gets its own experience and hard to forget. Due to the experience of visiting that is in the tourist will culminate in the selection back again or not. It is highly based on previous visits to make loyal tourist. The increasing perceived experience tourist means memorable vacation to Bandung. Is not impossible that they will say something positive to relatives in their country about tourism industry in Bandung. This happens because at the moment they have not been an experience that they found before in terms of holiday. Research method used is descriptive method, wherein the process through a survey by observation and interviews to the tourists either domestically and foreign who visit Bandung. Experiential marketing is perceived by tourists can be categorized Good. In this case it appears that tourists (domestic and foreign), which can be regarded as consumers of existing tourist destinations in Bandung have a positive experience. Experience gained by tourists can happen because the concept of differentiation made by the management a tourist destination. So not only got the vacation experience of the beauty of the city and nature, but also gained valuable experience in the vacation in a tourist destination.Item type: Item , Employee Engagement Impact The Performance Of Employees Through The Intention To Quit In Banking Sector Bandung(Academic Research International, 10/13/2016) Rusyandi, DeddyIntention to quit an important issue that can affect employee performance. This problem experienced by frontline employees of the bank. There are indications that these problems arise because of frontline employees do not have an attachment to the job. This study aims to explore and examine and analyze the picture: employee engagement, intention to quit, and the performance of frontline employees of commercial banks in Bandung. Besides, analyzing the influence of employee engagement towar employee performance through intention to quit. The method used is descriptive and verification, using the method of data collection through a questionnaire to 317 frontline employees Commercial Bank in the city of Bandung. The study found that frontline employees of commercial banks in Bandung have an engagement that is low, the intention to quit high from bank where they worked, yet they show sufficient performance. Another finding is that employee engagement positively affects employee performance, employee engagement negatively affect the intention to quit and intention to quit negative influence on employee performance. While the intention to quit only partially mediates the effect of engagement toward the performance of frontline employees of commercial banks in Bandung.Item type: Item , Engagement n Commitment to ITQ(International Journal of Business and Management Invention, 10/13/2016) Rusyandi, DeddyThe purpose of this study is to demonstrate the importance of employee engagement and commitment of employees as well as its relationship with employees intention to quit the frontline bank employees in Bandung. The method used is descriptive verification, with a sampling of the population through disproportionate stratified random sampling technique, whereas for data collection questionnaire and conducted engineering. The research subjects were also as the unit of analysis in this study is the frontline employee (teller and customer service) that serve common customers, where this position is vulnerable to turnover, while in fact they are the spearhead of which is connected to the customer's bank. Samples were randomly selected from the 24 banks that are used in this study. A total of 317 respondents participated. Data were analyzed using the Smart PLS 2.0. Linear regression analysis showed no significant linear relationship, strong, and negative between the level of employee engagement and commitment of the employees on the intention to stop level.Item type: Item , Job Insecurity As Moderating Employee Engagement Toward Intention To Quit At Goverment Bank In Bandung City(INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENTIFIC & TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH, 10/13/2016) Rusyandi, DeddyThe purpose of this research was to demonstrate the importance of employee engagement and its relationship to employee intent to quit witch moderated by job insecurity on employees frontline state bank in Bandung City Indonesia. The method used is explanatory survey method that this study took a sample of the population with a questionnaire and interview techniques as the primary means of data collection. The subjects of the study were also as the unit of analysis in this study is the frontline employees (teller and customer service) that serve the general customers, where the position is vulnerable to employee turnover, whereas they are the spearhead or the forefront (frontline) that connects to the customer's bank (the customer ). A randomly selected sample of 4 bank was used in this study. A total of 270 respondents participated. Data were analyzed using Smart PLS 2.0. The linear regression analysis indicated there was a significant, strong, and negative linear relationship between employee engagement level and employee intent to quit rate. The results of this research promote employee engagement is a significant negative effect amounted 41,42% of the intention to quit, while the variable job insecurity is not proven significantly. The conclusion from this study is that the employe engagement give significant influence on the intention to quit and variable job insecurity is not a variable moderation.Item type: Item , The Factors Affecting Mudharabah Deposits of Sharia Banking in Indonesia(International Journal of Business and Management Invention - IJBMI ; Volume 5 Issue 9, 9/8/2016) Hilman, IimMudharabah deposit is one of main fund resource of sharia bank, teherefore the growth must be maintained. This research is aimed to find whether there are influences of profit-sharing rate of mudharabah saving, interest rate of saving in conventional bank, growth rate of Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) to the amount of mudharabah saving in sharia banks. The sharia banks which are used in this research are all of sharia commercial bank in Indonesia.The method of this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with quarterly panel data from 2006 to 2015 of the twelve sharia banks which are observed. The approach model which is used in this research is Fixed Effect Model. The result of this research showed that profit-sharing rate of mudharabah saving, interest rate of saving, growth rate of Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) have significant influences to the amount of mudharabah saving in sharia banks. Profit-sharing rate of mudharabah saving, growth rate of Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) have positive influences to the amount of mudharabah saving, Meanwhile, interest rate of saving in conventional bank has a negative influence to the amount of mudharabah saving.Item type: Item , The Bank Bankruptcy Prediction Models Based On Financial Risk(International Journal Of Business, Economics And Law (IJBEL), 2/22/2016) Hilman, IimThe Shocks In Banking Industry Became One Of Economy Instability Factor. In Order To Anticipate And Prevent That Condition, Prediction Models Which Can Give Early Signal Of Bank Bankruptcy Is Needed. This Study Is Purposed To Make Bank Bankruptcy Prediction Models Based On Time Dimension And Bank Groups Using Financial Ratios Which Are Expected Can Influence Bank In Bankrupt Condition. Beside Documentation Study And Verificative Analysis To Bank Financial Report, Survey Method To Bankrupt Bank And Nonbankrupt Bank Population Is Used To Get Data. Econometric Models With Linear Discriminant Analysis Technique Is Used To Find Distinguishing (Discriminator) Variables Of Bankrupt Bank And Nonbankrupt Bank. Then, It Is Continued With Logistic Regression Analysis, Proposed To Find Variables Which Influence (Estimator) To Bank Bankruptcy. The Results Found Discriminator Variables As Many As 27 Financial Ratios, And Estimator Variables As Many As 20 Financial Ratios. Bankruptcy Prediction Models That Meet The Criteria Of Goodness Of Fit Are: MP-6, MP-12, MP-24, MP-BK, And MP-BB. While The Dominant Risk Rating On Bank Bankruptcy Are: RP, RK, RL, RM, And RO.
